Cherry Pie Dump Cake
- 1 box white cake mix I used French Vanilla and it was great. Any cake mix would work
- 2 cans cherry pie filling you could change the recipe and put any pie filling
- 1 stick butter (melted)
- toppings pecans, walnuts optional - I used chopped pecans and it was YUMMY!
Homemade Whipped Cream
- 1 quart whipping cream
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
Cherry Pie Dump Cake
Preheat over to 350 degrees
Grease 9x13 baking pan well
Pour cherry pie filling on pan and spread evenly
Next pour cake mix over cherry pie filling, covering entire pan
Drizzle melted butter on top of the cake mix, making sure to cover as much as possible.
Bake for 50-60 minutes
Filling will be hot - let cool for 5-10min before serving
Best if served with homemade whipped cream
